Internship - Curriculum Testers

DMMSI is working with our partners to bring education into the 21st century. We are going to be combining rigorous state aligned lessons with immersive 3D technologies and gaming to include the power of interactive courses, 3D hands-on lab simulations, and course walk-throughs. We are in need of interns to test out our immersive content as it is developed. Type: Part Time 1099 Contractor

Salary: $16.50 per hour - 20 hours a week

Open Positions: 9

Contract: 3-5 Years


ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Go through learning modules as if you are the student and ensure that the learning objectives are met, that scoring works, that the scripts make sense.

  • Report any errors via our documentation process


QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Demonstrated ability to motivate, lead, self-initiate, set objectives, manage and performance

  • Unfazed by deadlines. You can set a schedule and keep it.

  • Superior verbal, written communication and editing skills, including the ability to articulate and simplify complex issues and present in plain language

  • Communicate clearly and concisely

  • The ability to effectively work cross-functionally with all levels of staff as well as external organizations and vendors

  • Ability to work well under pressure and consistently meet daily and weekly deadlines

  • Must be able to embrace change and adjust quickly to work demands and shifting priorities


Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by any applicant to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, this position is regularly required to communicate with and receive communications from DMMSI interns, contractors, employees, and vendors/clients in real time using online and other electronic media.


Location: Pasadena/Azusa Area.
